Thousands of people lined the river bank on Saturday 18th July for the Pershore River Fest 2015. Vikings, exotic animals, Avon Meadows wetlands, wheelyboat, South Worcestershire Lifeguards, Avon Navigation Trust, Wild life Trust, Sports, Circus Skills, loads of stalls, visiting boats and lots more. It was the first day that the new extension was 'handed over' and on show. The Canoe club managed the 'have a go' watersports and over 300 people sat in a canoe, or tried the new stand up paddleboards. Huge thanks to all involved. Not only great for the Town and promoting the river - but also help raise some much needed revenue funding for the Youth Centre Charity - Awesome !
